DOOM, born Daniel Dumile, wore the mask so the words would do the talking. Dense, funny, sideways rhymes that reward the tenth listen more than the first. He took the villain's part on purpose and made it the most generous seat in hip hop.
"Sofa King" comes from The Mouse and the Mask, his 2005 album with Danger Mouse. Say the title out loud. That is the whole joke, and it is very DOOM.
